Meet Audrey Hall of Studio Hall

Today we’d like to introduce you to Audrey Hall.

Hi Audrey, thanks for sharing your story with us. How did you get started.
I began my career in interior design in 2014, when I was one of the first hires at Decorist, an e-design platform. While living in London in 2015, I added a course in graphic design to my résumé, which still comes in handy for cabinet drawings! My husband and I were both born and raised in Atlanta, and after we were called back home in late 2017, I began working for Holt Interiors. The owner and principal designer, Chris Holt, taught me everything I know about high-end residential and multi-family design—how to pull together a fabric scheme, how custom upholstery works, how to draw an electrical plan, how to lay out tile, how to collaborate with a workroom and a receiver, and, most importantly, how the business side of the industry works. I’m eternally grateful for that guidance now that I’ve struck out under my own name with Studio Hall.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every designer inevitably learns some lessons the hard (i.e. expensive) way! Each project is unique, but I’ve tried to develop and document a thorough set of SOPs to keep business humming, even if I’m the only one referencing them. It’s when you neglect a part of the process, like not confirming a PO or forgetting to take a photo after a piece is installed, that trouble can arise.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Studio Hall is based in Candler Park and specializes in residential design. The goal of my firm is to craft timeless, thoughtful interiors that honor the past while embracing the realities of life (ex. shoes, paws, cords, etc!). My approach artfully blends form and function to transform spaces into refined, livable sanctuaries—where every detail serves a purpose, even if just to delight. I aim to be approachable for those using a designer for the first time, serving clients at all project sizes, scopes, and budgets. Whether you’re doing a gut renovation or hanging a gallery wall, I’m here to help!

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is long-term client satisfaction—creating spaces that truly reflect my clients’ needs and personalities and that last well beyond photography day. When they’re genuinely happy with the results, that positive word of mouth is invaluable. I get to spend more time designing and less time marketing!
